We like to have the homeowner home upon delivery or to coordinate ahead of time an object that is in the spot where you would like to have your material dumped, e.g. 5 gallon pail, grade stake, or lawn ornament.
-
Please note the location of your septic system, septic pipe, leach field, wet areas we cannot access, and power lines overhead when specifying the area you would like material dumped. Some people like to lay down a tarp or have us dump material directly into their garden if accessible.
-
Unscreened compost will have any large objects over ½” still in the compost, we do offer this compost at a discount and for a short period of time. Most customers will enjoy a screened compost to avoid rocks, sticks, and large chunks of compost.
-
Unscreened or screened compost will provide the same benefits to your gardens, beds, or under tree canopies but screened compost will give you the peace of mind that there are no rocks, large sticks, or large debris in your freshly delivered pile.

All bark mulches are customer preference based on color, type of trees or bark used, and whether they incorporate compost or not. Some offer different benefits based on the primary source of the bark. All mulches are used to make your property more appealing, assist flower and shrub beds with erosion control, and most have a smell that is a wonderful addition to well-landscaped areas.

Using a small landscape material provider like ourselves keeps money in the local economy, keeps your carbon footprint low by sourcing materials closer to your home or business, and provides business for local forestry businesses, and farmers, that we purchase wholesale material from. Big box stores purchase material at the cheapest price possible regardless of how it was produced, or if materials were ethically sourced. Most often you’re saving money purchasing from a local bulk provider anyway and you’re not throwing away a ton of plastic bags.
